Love this board. So glad I bought it, and got a great price from ALOHA! I have a McTavish 9’6” Noserider, glassed fin. I find it very heavy, unstable and hard to turn. And McTavish stuffed up my custom colour, as well as taking more than 5 months to make it because they stuffed up the first blank, they lied repeatedly about the delays, broke promises about timeframes, and if that’s not bad enough, when making the second blank they prioritised other orders over mine for more important people (well known surfers rather than just normal average Aussie customers like me). McTavish treated me like shit and they made me crap board - with the wrong colours and panels - and it cost me 3X more than the McCoy which is a way better board. The McCoy All Rounder XF Malibu (9’2”) is really light and super strong (XF is 👍), incredibly stable, a great paddler and easy wave catcher, dynamic and fast it gets me across sections with ease and into floaters and has great trimming. I am not carving it yet bcos I’m not a great surfer. But this board will definitely carve when my skills improve. So - imo - don’t buy a McTavish. Total ripoff, arseholes to deal with and awful boards. Just get yourself a McCoy XF or any other Epoxy EPS all rounder from a quality brand.

This board is a step up from my very first beginners board. I wished I’d bought it sooner because I got more waves immediately. It’s smooth, still very easy to paddle and I can control it better. It looks pretty too! It was such a bargain on sale. Highly recommend.

Paddles well, and I love the rocker for making those steep take‑offs on Sunny Coast beachies. A good option if you want a decent‑quality board that doesn’t cost a bomb.

Great board. Very fast and loose but the you still have good hold with the long rail line and the channels. Size down if you are intermediate to advanced. I bought the 6’6 and ended up selling and going to the 6’2
